Sheikh Dr. Tawfique Chowdhury is the Chairman of Mercy Mission. He has, from an early age, excelled in academic studies, consistently being awarded prizes and accolades for his various achievements. Sheikh Tawfique is a graduate of Medicine from the University of Bond, Australia, as well as a graduate of the college of Shariah at the Islamic University of Madinah. Being a prolific speaker, Sheikh Tawfique Chowdhury has travelled internationally, sharing his knowledge worldwide. He is renowned for specializing in Islamic Jurisprudence – particularly Islamic finance, Muslim Family Law and Islamic Medical Ethics.

Sheikh Riyad Fataa is the First Deputy President of the Muslim Judicial Council, Chairperson of the MJC Cemetary Management Committee and the Mediation and Arbitration HOD for the MJC. Riyaad Fataar is a graduate of Al-Azhar University. The Al-Azhar University in Cairo is one of the world’s oldest universities. Shady Alsuleiman

Shady Alsuleiman (born 1978 in Sydney, Australia) is a prominent Muslim Imam and scholar and the president of the Australian National Imams Council and the United Muslims of Australia. He is from a Palestinian family who migrated to Australia in the late 1960s. He initially obtained an Ijazah (licence) with Sanad (complete chain back to Muhammad) in complete and sound memorization of the Quran at Darul Uloom Al-Husainiah in Sindh, Pakistan.

Sheikh Shady Alsuleiman has been recognized as one of the 500 most influential Muslims around the world alongside prominent Muslim leaders and presidents of major Muslim countries by an independent study conducted by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre.


Imam Ahmad Saleem

Imam Ahmad Saleem specializes in Tafseer and Seerah. He has dedicated more than 7 years studying with Sheikh Diya Al-Faidy, Vice Rector of Nooriya Islamic University, completing more than 20 classical texts in various sciences. In addition, he has completed the tafseer of the Quran and its word-to-word translation under the tutelage of Dr. Farhat Hashmi.

He later completed various texts under the guidance of over 20 scholars during his time in Saudi Arabia. With an acute ability to explain difficult Islamic concepts to the average muslim, he is a frequently sought-out speaker. In addition to public speaking, he is a certified coach and executive trainer.
