Meet Our Imams

Our program and projects are imam focused in order to bring about the greatest impact and change in his community through the hand of an Imam. Your contribution will assist, support and develop the Imam, enhancing his position as the Imam; making him a better leader in his community.

Our Programs

IDP runs a series of innovative and need-sensitive programs across the communities our Imams serve. The programs belong to multiple categories: Zakat, Sadaqah, Sadaqah Jaariyah, Hardship Relief, etc. We also undertake the responsibility of implementing a number of programs for local and international charities. We invite you to explore and donate to various causes.

The fund is designed to provide financial support to students and families who face barriers in accessing quality education due to financial constraints.

Zakat Al Maal

Zakah is a pillar of the faith wherein Muslims are required to pay annually 2.5% on their specific Zakatable assets. This is given to 8 categories of recipients as outlined in Surah Tawbah, verse 60.

Zakat Al Fitr

Kaffarah

A charitable compensation made for intentionally breaking fasts during Ramadan or for breaking an oath. One broken fast = one meal for 60 people. Breaking oath = one meal for 10 people.
